4,4-Thiobis (6-Tert-Butyl-m-Cresol)

CAS#: 96-69-5

Rubber / Elastomers

4,4-Thiobis (6-Tert-Butyl-m-Cresol) - Protection of light-colored rubber from oxidation and of nonstaining neoprene compounds against deterioration. This material is used as an antioxidant in the plastics and rubber industries; in Neoprene and other synthetic rubbers; in polyethylene and polypropylene.

Allyl Methacrylate (AMA)

CAS#: 96-05-9

Rubber / Elastomers

Allyl Methacrylate products are characterized by a minimum of two polymerizable groups in one molecule. Polymerization leads to crosslinked and insoluble structures. Allyl methacrylate offers exceptional performance with two double bonds of different reactivity, allowing graft copolymerization in emulsions. Crosslinkers are ideally suited for hot and cold curing reactive adhesives and for peroxide crosslinking of high performance elastomers due to their low volatility and high reactivity.

Aluminum Acetylacetonate (AAA)

CAS#: 13963-57-0

Rubber / Elastomers

Aluminum acetylacetonate can be used as the precursor to crystalline aluminum oxide films using low-pressure metal organic chemical vapor deposition

Barium Hydroxide Monohydrate

CAS#: 22326-55-2

Rubber / Elastomers

Barium hydroxide monohydrate is a white powder that is slightly soluble in water. It is corrosive to metals and tissue. It is used in water purification, to make lubricating and oil additives, to make barium containing chemicals and for many other uses.

Benzoic Acid, Food/Pharma Grade

CAS#: 65-85-0

Rubber / Elastomers

An aromatic compound synthesized from the partial oxidation of toluene, used in the production of plasticizers and for food and medical applications. Benzoic Acid (Purox B) is mostly used in the production of phenol which is primarily produced for its applications in producing plastics or Nylon. Its other uses are as an intermediate in the production of chemicals used in food preservatives or flavoring and in medical compound applications.

Benzoic Acid, Tech Grade

CAS#: 65-85-0

Rubber / Elastomers

An aromatic compound synthesized from the partial oxidation of toluene, used in the production of plasticizers and for food and medical applications. Benzoic Acid (Purox B) is mostly used in the production of phenol which is primarily produced for its applications in producing plastics or Nylon. Its other uses are as an intermediate in the production of chemicals used in food preservatives or flavoring and in medical compound applications.

Dipentaerythritol is an ingredient in paints and coatings, and is also used in producing polyether, polyester, polyurethane, alkyd resins and photosensitive resin film, etc.

Alcohol

Dipentaerythritol, 90%

CAS#: 126-58-9

Rubber / Elastomers

Dipentaerythritol is an ingredient in paints and coatings, and is also used in producing polyether, polyester, polyurethane, alkyd resins and photosensitive resin film, etc.

Alcohol

Dipentaerythritol, Micronized

CAS#: 126-58-9

Rubber / Elastomers

Dipentaerythritol is used in producing polyether, polyester, polyurethane, alkyd resins and photosensitive resin film. In its micronized form it is often used in PVC stabilizers and fire resistant systems. This product offers properties such as heat stability and scratch resistance.

Alcohol

Isophthalic Acid, Purified - PIA

CAS#: 121-91-5

Rubber / Elastomers

Isophthalic acid is an organic compound. This colorless solid is an isomer of phthalic acid and terephthalic acid. The main industrial uses of purified isophthalic acid are for the production of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin and for the production of unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) and other types of coating resins. An aromatic dicarboxylic acid synthesized from meta-xylene, is used to produce aramids, polyesters, highly performance electroinsulating enamel and alkyd resin without oil. The largest use of purified isophthalic acid (PIA) is an intermediate in the production of unsaturated polyester resins, followed by polyester and alkyd resins (mainly for surface coatings) and inks, reinforced plastics and packaging applications.
